About the Author

O'drean E. Banks is the accomplished award-winning author of realistic
Contemporary novels and publishes under her own label, O'Ronjaki Publishing, Inc. She is a native of Lockport, IL just outside Chicago where she attended high school and college studying Business Administration. Now residing in Atlanta, she has attended the Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station LANT in Norfolk,VA where she earned a Certificate of Training for Military Specs from the Department of the Navy; took refresher courses at Atlanta Metro and is named in Who's Who in the World-Millennium Edition. This divorced mother of three, writes fluently from an abundance of life's experiences. Recipient of the 1997,1998,1999,2002 Editor's Choice Awards,she is a member of the Atlanta Chapter of the Association of Black Journalist (AABJ); Publisher's Marketing Association (PMA) and the Literary Marketplace. She is credited with writing numerous newspaper articles and poetry. She also serves as Senior Editor for Black Atlanta.net as Senior Editor. O'drean describes writing as her passion, a means of release and relaxation.

A true Aquarian, she loves beaches, waterfronts and is learning to enjoy hiking. Her books address all elements of life today with special emphasis on love, abuse, infidelity, marriage,divorce, single parenting and low self-esteem. She advocates self-employment and business ownership. She seemingly has overcome life's challenges and has a positive, powerful, empowering message for those who have not. From her office in Atlanta, O'Drean is scheduled to unveil three more of her riveting novels in the coming year at an elaborate unveiling party. Upcoming releases are Notorious Illusions, When the Music Stops and Disastrous Deceptions. She has numerous copyrights for others awaiting publication and is currently ghostwriting and editing several books for other aspiring authors. Twiwanda Devauld a new author published under the O'RonJaKi label will be unveiling her debut book entitled "All of Me," early summer. O'drean's debut release "Devastating Rumors, When lies Destroy" has set the pace for those to follow and is getting rave reviews. The four main characters,Trevor, Leon, Kenneth and Destiny in the debut novel has everybody buzzing.

This award winning author recently left as host of her own radio show entitled, "It's About You!" to tour and dedicate more time to her business & family. She is a dynamic motivational speaker and captivates audiences with her powerful messages of empowerment. Because of her caring spirit, she is swiftly becoming the Dear "O" of Atlanta. People seek her out for advice, encouragement and motivation.
